Minimum Enroute Altitudes (MEAs) display in the Profile View as a heavy yellow line for routes planned as IFR and Airway. To display MEAs:
Right-click anywhere on the Profile View.
Click Show MEAs on the menu.
In the Profile View, you can select a different altitude for each segment of your trip. The number of segments available is based upon how many waypoints are between your departure and destination airport. If you only have a departure and destination airport on your route, you only have one route segment. This situation primarily occurs on GPS/Direct routes. Use the rubberband feature to add waypoints along the route line. To change the altitude:
Select one or more segments of the planned route by clicking on the segment. A pink highlight appears on the segment that you selected.
Select more than one adjoining segment by pressing SHIFT and clicking the first and last segments. All of the intermediate segments are selected along the two segments that you clicked.
Select non-adjoining segments by pressing CTRL and clicking only the segments that you need.
Select all segments by right-clicking in the Profile View and choosing Select All Segments from the shortcut menu.
Click and drag the segment to the desired altitude. The altitude selected displays to the left of the view.
