Toolbars

Main Toolbar

To view the Main toolbar, click View > Main Toolbar.

	Create Flight Plan	Creates a new route. See Using the Route Planning Tool.
	Zoom in	Zooms the Enroute Chart View in one level while keeping the same center point. See Navigating the Map.
	Zoom Out	Zooms the Enroute Chart View out one level while keeping the same center point. See Navigating the Map.
	Previous View	Displays a previous page in the Enroute Chart View. See Navigating the Map.
	Next View	Displays the next page in the Enroute Chart View (only after clicking Previous View). See Navigating the Map.
	Search	Displays the Electronic Chart Data (NavData) search dialog box. See Searching for a Navaid.
	Default View	Restores the Enroute Chart View to the default theme by resetting chart objects. See Setting a Default Display.
	Weight & Balance	Displays the weight and balance dialog box with information for the planned flight. See Trip Weight and Balance.
	Airmets/Sigmets	Displays and hides airmets and sigmets on the Enroute Chart View. See Text Briefing Enroute Chart Overlay.
	Surface (Metars)	Displays surface winds in the Enroute Chart View. Click on the down arrow to view Winds Aloft. See Text Briefing Enroute Chart Overlay.
	Winds Aloft	Displays winds aloft in the Enroute Chart View; click again to remove. See Text Briefing Enroute Chart Overlay.
	Print	Prints the current screen view.
	Trip Kit	Prints the information associated to your planned route. See Printing a Trip Kit.
	Help	Accesses the online help system.
	Chart Theme	Select a chart theme to display on the enroute chart. For more information on chart themes, see Customizing the Chart Theme.
	Weather Overlay	Select a weather overlay to display on the enroute chart. For more information, see Downloading Graphics and Overlays and Viewing and Overlaying Weather Graphics.
	Context Help	Displays specific help for buttons, menus, windows and other program elements. Click the Context Help button; then click the menu command, button, or screen element for information.

Preferences Toolbar

The buttons listed below hide or show data elements on the enroute chart. Depending on how far out you zoom and the theme selected, some elements might not display.

Floating a Toolbar

A floating toolbar is a toolbar that is displayed over the top of a View window instead of docked in the border of the window.

Moving a Toolbar

The Main toolbar and the Preferences toolbar can be floated above the main JIFP window or docked at the right, left, or top edges.

	IFR Landing Facilities	Displays or hides IFR airports in the Enroute Chart View.
	VFR Landing Facilities	Displays or hides VFR airports in the Enroute Chart View.
	Low Use Landing Facilities	Displays or hides low use landing facilities in the Enroute Chart View.
	VORs	Displays or hides VORs in the Enroute Chart View.
	Enroute NDBs	Displays or hides Enroute NDBs in the Enroute Chart View.
	Terminal NDBs	Displays or hides NDBs in the Enroute Chart View.
	Enroute Airspace Fixes	Displays or hides enroute intersections in the Enroute Chart View.
	Terminal Fixes	Displays or hides terminal intersections in the Enroute Chart View.
	Low Airways	Displays or hides low altitude airways in the Enroute Chart View.
	High Airways	Displays or hides high altitude airways in the Enroute Chart View.
	Terminal Airspace	Displays or hides terminal airspace in the Enroute Chart View; click again to remove.
	Special Use Airspace	Displays or hides special use airspace in the Enroute Chart View.
	Localizers	Displays or hides localizer feathers in the Enroute Chart View.
	Marker Beacons	Displays or hides marker beacons in the Enroute Chart View.
	Holding Patterns	Displays or hides holding patterns in the Enroute Chart View.
	Obstacles	Displays or hides obstacles in the Enroute Chart View (not available in the High Enroute and Low Enroute theme).
	ARTCC/FIR/UIR Boundaries	Displays or hides ARTCC/FIR/UIR boundaries in the Enroute Chart View.
	Grid MORAs	Displays or hides grid MORAs in the Enroute Chart View (not available in the Atlas theme).
	Roads	Displays or hides roads and highways in the Enroute Chart View (not available in the High Enroute and Low Enroute theme).
	Railroads	Displays or hides railroad tracks in the Enroute Chart View (not available in the High Enroute and Low Enroute theme).
	Cities	Displays or hides city outlines and names in the Enroute Chart View.
	Lakes/Rivers	Displays or hides inland bodies of water in the Enroute Chart View.
	Terrain	Displays or hides terrain shading in the Enroute Chart View.
